How and when did you become interested in event/wedding planning?
We both started in hospitality pretty early and fell into event & wedding planning almost immediately. Planning events has been in our DNA from an early age - we were always the ones planning parties, vacations, and dinners. We could not imagine doing anything else!
What services do you offer? Do you have a specialty?
We offer Wedding & Event Planning, and will do all types of events but really specialize in weddings! We offer Month of Planning through Complete Full Planning and everything in between.
What's your favorite part of the process?
Our favorite part is pulling all the details and ideas together-it is amazing to see a couple's vision come to life from your first meeting when it was all just ideas to the wedding day when it's a beautiful reality!
What can people expect when they book with you, and on their wedding day? What is your role throughout the timeline?
We pride ourselves in our time management skills. You can expect your day will go smoothly and you will not have to worry about the timing of anything. We are present every step of the way on your wedding day. We also pride ourselves in our vendor relationships so you can trust that we are all working as a team to give you the perfect event.
What do you wish people knew about planning services? What should they keep in mind as they plan their wedding?
There is a lot of details that go into a wedding and a lot of moving parts. If you do not have a planner then you need to make sure this is being handled so nothing falls through the cracks. We hate to see a couple or their family/bridal party stressed on the wedding day or not fully enjoying the special moments because they're worried about setting up or making sure things are done on time. The key to any successful wedding is a good timeline, so always make sure you have this in place with or without a wedding planner.
What sets you apart from other coordinators?
We have over 20 years of experience working in venues from Country Clubs & Yacht Clubs to Hotels. This allows us to have a unique perspective on events and how they are run. We know what goes into setting up a wedding, switching a room over from a ceremony, creating a dinner, plating up and serving a dinner, and everything in between. We have done it all.
Any unique experiences you'd like to share?
The great thing is every wedding is a unique experience, no two weddings are the same. Even if they're using the same venue and vendors the result is always different. That is what we love about what we do - getting to become part of each family for such a special day.
Do you have a favorite style when it comes to weddings?
We LOVE all wedding styles especially when they compliment the couple but nothing is more timeless then a Traditional Wedding. We love the weddings that when you look back in 10-15 years you have a hard time pinpointing when the wedding took place. You can still infuse touches whether modern, vintage, nautical etc...which help make it uniquely you.
