FAQs

Why should I have a videographer at my wedding?

I constantly hear from married couples that their one regret was not hiring a videographer. Videographers are great at capturing those little moments and details that you will be too busy to enjoy. Not only can you share your wedding day with family and friends, but you can relive those memories for the rest of your lives. Think about celebrating future anniversaries – after one year, five years, thirty years, you can look back on your Big Day. You can even show your children where it all began! Video is truly the best way to preserve this milestone.

What will the final product look / sound like?

While every video is a little bit different, in general you can expect to see a 5-10 minute highlight reel showcasing the best parts of the day. This includes preparations, ceremony, and reception. Sometimes I use audio from the ceremony or letter readings to enhance the visuals. Other times I'll use only music to bring it all together. If you have a preference, feel free to let me know! Because of copyright laws, I must license the music I use. So while I usually can't take requests, I do my best to find music that fits your style.

Can I see / save footage aside from the highlight reel?

Of course! With every package I save the full speeches given at your reception. With the Deluxe and Premium packages you'll also receive the fully edited ceremony, and bonus footage from the whole day. This will all be delivered on a USB drive. If you want to save any moments in particular, please let me know. This can include everything from ceremony readings, games during the reception, or first looks with the groom or father of the bride.

When can I expect the final product to be delivered?

Typically, I have the highlight reel online for you to approve within four weeks of the wedding. Then, depending on what package you choose and how busy the wedding season is, it could be six to eight weeks after the wedding until you receive the hard copy.
