Wedding Wednesdays | Recommended Vendors | Christopher Schafer Clothier

January 23, 2019

A lot of couples often forget that their wedding day should be just as much about the groom as it is the bride. (Before you grab those pitchforks, hear me out!) Grooms deserve to feel equally as handsome on the big day, and confident in what their wearing. I absolutely love what Christopher Schafer Clothier offers to grooms - or anyone in need of a suit. This is not your cookie cutter suit shop, and I'm sure they couldn't be prouder of that. Keep reading for a peek behind the scenes!

How did Christopher Schafer Clothier start?

CSC started by realizing that I'm an entrepreneur who needed to do things my own way. I'm unconventional, and I needed my space to experiment. It was very risky but I wouldn't have it any other way.

What services do you offer?

Custom suits, shirts, tuxedos, sport coats, blazers, ties, and accessories.

What can people expect when they come in for an appointment?

Most people are pretty surprised when they enter our studio, it's a large open loft in an old building. It has lots of character. We have plenty of fabric around the shop and many sample garments made to show detailing.

What's your favorite part of the process?

We usually like to take some time to get to know our clients, I love that part of what I do. It helps in the design process so that the finished garments reflect the clients personality.

What do you wish people knew before/while shopping for a suit?

Having an idea on color, pattern, fit, style, and budget is a great starting place. We will help you the rest of the way.

What sets you apart from other men's attire shops?

We are not a stuffy shop where someone with more knowledge of fashion looks down their nose at you. We educate our clients and guide them to look their best. We set people at ease with our eclectic and creative environment.
